I have been immersed in sport since my elementary school days. Throughout my life I have played baseball, basketball, cross country, rugby. soccer, squash, team handball, track and field and volleyball. For some reason, pickleball and I have not made an acquaintance yet (I was holding out thinking it was a fad, but it’s here to stay). It is my belief life should shut down for two weeks during The Olympics so people can revel in sports. I am an avid sports fan who actively follows the Raptors, Blue Jays and the Canadian national basketball, swimming and rugby teams. I have switched my soccer allegiance to Wrexham, because the story of the club’s rise is just too good of a fairy tale to ignore.
