Camryn Rogers launched the hammer throw 80.51m to win gold at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo today. She bested her next competitor by 3 metres to take the gold medal and became the first Canadian to ever defend a World Athletics Championship title.|

The heave was the second longest hammer throw in women’s history and is the best toss amongst woman in 2025. Rogers, British Columbia born, is also the defending Olympic champion in hammer throw.
